ma forse questa resistenza ai "prontuari all'americana" sta nelle aspettative degli pseudo intellettuali nostrani. io pure ero scettica e restia a partecipare a laboratori e consimili. ne ho frequentato qualcuno, addirittura uno stage alla scuola holden di baricco: non posso dire di averne tratto i segreti dei grandi scrittori, di avervi scovato le regole universali per sfornare capolavori. quel che mi hanno dato però è l'abitudine al confronto, lo stimolo a far leggere le mie cose, il pungolo a riscrivere e correggere, le suggestioni per nuove idee. cosa che si può benissimo ottenere anche con un amico intelligente e sensibile (letterariamente) al quale affidare le varie bozze o revisioni per commenti e critiche. in mancanza ovviamente di un editor di professione. anche quella dell'editor è una figura pressochè bistrattata da noi. eppure i più grandi autori dell mondo sono diventati tali proprio perchè avevano accanto qualcuno che li faceva riflettere, rivedere, che li consigliava, fosse o meno uno con il cartellino "editor" attaccato alla giacca. ma questo è un discorso. tutt'altro è l'avvilente spot che da un paio di giorni vedo in tv: l'ennesima raccolta a fascicoli, che accanto a impareggiabili collezioni di riproduzioni di porcellana, a collane miniaturizzate dei classici della letteratura, ai corsi per confezionare oggetti all'uncinetto, ai corsi di salsa y marengue, in mezzo a tutti questi lodevoli e incantevoli hobbies spara le lezioni e la didattica della scuola holden dell'esimio scrittore. avvilente questo sì pensare che si diventi scrittori affermati coi fascicoli a puntate... grande mossa di marketing che va a pescare in un target smisurato di aspiranti (ormai si sa che in italia sono più quelli che scrivono di quelli che leggono) che anelano alla pubblicazione, alla ribalta delle cronache, allo sciame di adoranti fan in cerca di autografo. di per sè non c'è nulla di male a coltivare un piacevole passatempo, a volersi istruire sulle tecniche di scrittura, a curiosare tra i segreti e le manie dei grandi. proprio nulla di male, e anzi l'acculturarsi non deve mai essere visto come un male. ciò che mi lascia perplessa è il messaggio neppure tanto subdolo dello spot (quello nella versione integrale...non quello breve) in cui si vede un affascinante stereotipo di giovane scrittore in difficoltà con un passaggio della propria opera... interviene la lezioncina a fascicoli... e lo spot termina con il belloccio che chiude soddisfatto il proprio tomo a copertina rigida dichiarando soddisfatto: "pubblicato!" eh no... questo è proprio prendere per i fondelli...perchè chi ci prova davvero sa bene che non è così che si arriva alla pubblicazione (eufemismo per i più usato per indicare fama successo e guadagno). questo è tutt'altro che invogliare a migliorarsi, che pescare fra gli adepti dei diari e dei monologhi interiori. leggi i commenti
