Fabio Volo - Un posto nel mondo
Tempo fa mi sono ritrovata fra le mani il terzo libro di Fabio Volo, l'ho rigirato un po' tra le mani e l'ho riposto nello scaffale. Finito il giro in libreria con già tre tomi in mano, all'ultimo momento non so perchè ho afferrato anche "un posto nel mondo" e l'ho appoggiato in cassa, prima di ripensarci. Chi mi conosce sa che non amo i "casi letterari" del momento, tanto più se arrivano da altre realtà come la tv la radio ecc. Però Volo ormai è al terzo libro, mi sono detta. Proviamo, allora. E' rimasto qualche mese a prender polvere (a decantare, come dico io) e infine la scorsa settimana l'ho letto. Mi piace Fabio Volo dj, anche se ormai ascoltarlo è un loop continuo di inni all'anticonformismo di moda (per cui molto conformista), al vivere slegati e leggeri da responsabilità che non siano quelle verso la propria infantilità. Insomma, ultimamente mi ha stufata e anche irritata: passato l'entusiasmo per questo "spirito libero" fine a se stesso rimane poco. Speravo di leggere però un libro diverso da una qualsiasi puntata della sua trasmissione radiofonica. Purtroppo non è stato così: la storia è banale, dal punto di vista della trama insignificante e funzionale solamente alla spiegazione stile "maestrina in cattedra" delle teorie di vita del protagonista. Teorie per altro assolutamente sentite e risentite, scontate, alla "psicologo di Costanzo (non ricordo il nome)". Tante trovate sembrano un tentativo di uscire da luoghi comuni ormai consumati e per questo appaiono ancora più forzate del luogo comune che vorrebbero aggirare. Il protagonista vorrebbe far capire che le grandi rivoluzioni possono avvenire anche nelle piccole cose quotidiane, ma per farlo escogita stratagemmi da rubrica di "donna moderna" (lei che ha ancora il gusto di vestirsi e truccarsi per lui perchè non vivono assieme per cui è ogni volta una riscoperta...ecc.). Anche i dialoghi sono un escamotage per permettere al coprotagonista (l'amico Federico) di sciorinare la pappardella sul vero se stesso ritrovato girando per il mondo: dialoghi imbarazzanti e improponibili che mai si udirebbero in conversazioni reali. Appare davvero un copia incolla di tutto quello che si è sentito e letto sul "cambiar vita", "il sentire delle donne", "l'entrare in contatto con se stessi" in tutte le riviste femminili, di pseudopsicologia, in tv ecc. Senza alcun apporto innovativo, dal punto di vista letterario ma neppure filosofico. Quel che trasuda dalle pagine è un filo di troppo di arroganza e "so-tutto-io-neria" che, dato il basso profilo del romanzo, emerge con forza. Sicuramente farà presa su quelle persone che a 30 o 40 anni si ritrovano con un nulla di fatto della loro vita e il primo che gli mostra uno spiraglio di luce appare come un guru. Peccato.
