Al termine del confronto/scontro di ieri il mio compagno lamentava il fatto di non aver udito dall'uno e dall'altro parole come "ambiente" "risparmio energetico" "inquinamento" "salute"...

Riflettendo assieme mi è venuto da pensare che è difficile in Italia, in questa Italia un po' stremata, parlare di quei temi "alti" che dovrebbero essere il centro della politica. Sono temi che non coinvolgono, non quanto il portafoglio e l'orticello. Stanno tutti con le orecchie tese a capire chi dei due porterà benefici o chi li toglierà. Quello che (ci) importa, non come e dove andranno a reperire i soldi per darci ciò che vogliamo (tanto siamo la società dei finanziamenti, dei pagamenti fra sei mesi a tasso zero, dei quattro telefonini comprati a rate... vogliamo avere avere avere). Non siamo ancora un popolo al quale chiedere sacrifici, non siamo un popolo al quale poter fare un discorso serio (parola tanto cara a Prodi) e concreto: non ci sono soldi, occorre tagliare e rinunciare occorre fare un sacrificio. L'Italiano non ne vuole sentir parlare.

Ieri non hanno parlato di ambiente, ad esempio, perchè i due giornalisti non ne hanno chiesto, e non l'hanno fatto perchè evidentemente non sono temi che fanno aumentare la tiratura. L'Italia è indietro perchè ha una struttura che è indietro, la nostra mentalità e la nostra cultura non hanno saputo, mai, guardare avanti. E chi aveva urgenza di risollevarsi ci ha sopravvanzati agilmente. Qui ci vuole un lavoro che parte dal fondo, bisogna ridisegnare il paese, e ci vorrà tanto tempo: non son cose che si realizzano in pochi mesi e neppure in pochi anni.

E' che a noi interessa più quanto ci arriverà con la prossima tredicesima per poter prenotare domani le vacanze...

A me è parsa più una trovata promozionale (che potrebbe essere controproducente) che non verrà calcolata più di tanto.
